Vice president of Development
Peter Colarulli is the Vice President of Development for Snell. Peter supervises new development and renovation projects, and he participates in asset management.
At Snell, Peter led the successful renovation and repositioning of The Graham at Southern Towers, an occupied 459-unit high-rise apartment building that included extensive work in units and common areas and replacement of major building systems. He also oversaw the master planning and rezoning of Southern Towers, a multi-year effort which added 400,000 square feet of mixed-use density to the site. Peter is currently supervising the renovation of the Dominion Arms building, a historic tax credit rehabilitation project, which is a near complete renovation to the existing building and its systems. He is also planning future phases of renovation and new development at Southern Towers.
Prior to working for Snell, Peter worked for CWCapital in their REO group where he managed a national portfolio of multifamily properties and oversaw the strategy, operations, and dispositions of these assets. Peter began his career at The Bozzuto Group where he had roles in their Acquisitions Company evaluating potential apartment acquisitions and participating in due diligence, and in their Construction Company working on both pre-construction and active projects. Over the course of his career, Peter has been involved in virtually every phase of real estate development and asset management.
Peter received a Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. Peter also sits on the Board of Trustees for the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria.
